Hon’ble Deputy Chief Ministers Shri. Eknath Shinde & Shri. Ajit Pawar Review Pune–Shirur National Highway Expansion and Greenfield Road Approvals

Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri. Eknath Shinde, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri. Ajit Pawar, Hon’ble Revenue Minister Dr. Ravindra Waikar, Hon’ble Water Resources Minister Shri. Shambhuraj Desai, and Hon’ble Public Works Minister Shri. Shivendra Singh Bhosale attended the Cabinet Infrastructure Committee meeting held at Mantralaya. Chief Secretary Shri Manoj KR. Shrivastava and senior officials were also present.
The Committee approved the construction of a six-lane road along the 53.4-kilometre Pune–Shirur National Highway. The project includes a four-lane under-grade section and a five-lane elevated corridor covering the industrial areas of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district, the Bidkin industrial area, and the Bidkin to Daulatabad (Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar to Pune) stretch.
