Cabinet Infrastructure Committee Approves Major Six-Lane Highway Projects

The Cabinet Infrastructure Committee meeting, chaired by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri. Devendra Fadnavis approved the construction of a six-lane highway along the 53.4-kilometre Pune–Shirur National Highway, comprising a four-lane at-grade road and a six-lane elevated corridor. The project will enhance connectivity to the Shendra and Bidkin industrial areas and the Bidkin–Dhoregaon stretch on the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar–Pune corridor.

Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri Eknath Shinde, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri Ajit Pawar, Hon’ble Revenue Minister Shri Chandrashekhar Bawankule, and Hon’ble Public Works Minister Shri Shivendra Singh Bhosale attended the meeting. Chief Secretary Shri Rajesh Kumar and senior officials were also present.
