Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri. Devendra Fadnavis Lays Foundation Stone of New High Court Complex, Mumbai
Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri. Devendra Fadnavis, along with Hon’ble Chief Justice of India Shri Bhushan Gavai, laid the foundation stone of the new High Court Complex. The ceremony was attended by Hon’ble Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court shri. Shree Chandrashekhar, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Ministers Shri. Eknath Shinde and Shri. Ajit Pawar, Hon’ble Minister Shri. Shivendra Singh Bhosale, and other dignitaries.
The foundation laying of the new High Court Complex signifies the strengthening of judicial infrastructure and democratic values. Hon’ble Chief Justice of India Shri. Bhushan Gavai and Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri. Devendra Fadnavis presided over the ceremony.
Hon’ble Chief Minister highlighted that the Bombay High Court, established in 1862, is one of the oldest judiciaries in the country and has witnessed historic events, including the trial of Lokmanya Tilak. He expressed confidence that the new High Court Complex will emerge as one of the fastest, most efficient, and technologically advanced judicial facilities in India, setting a benchmark for future judicial architecture.
