    A meeting of the Cabinet Infrastructure Committee under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis approved the revised 204-km plan of the Nagpur–Chandrapur Expressway High-Speed Highway.

    Under the Nagpur-Chandrapur Expressway High-Speed Highway, after considering the suggestions received from the central government’s Gati Shakti portal, approval has been granted for the revised road plan spanning a total of 204 kilometers. The highway will be constructed from the Seloodh Interchange on the Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg to Navegaon (Mor) on the Durga Hyderabad Highway. Its total length will be 192 kilometers. Additionally, the 11-kilometer Chandrapur link road has been retained as per the previous plan. The revised road plan will result in savings of 27 hectares of forest land acquisition. Furthermore, approval has also been granted for the extension of the development period through privatization for the lands in Ghatkopar East, Chembur, and Andheri (E), Ambivli Printing Workers Colony, and Chunabhatti in Mumbai city.

    On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Minister Shivendraraje Bhosle, and concerned officials were present.
