As Maharashtra moves towards Viksit Maharashtra 2047, a 150-day Sevakarmi Programme was implemented to evaluate the administrative performance of officers and employees, with the objective of achieving transparent, dynamic, and good governance.

Under this initiative, the General Administration Department assessed the performance of 93 government establishments functioning under 42 ministerial secretaries across the state.

During the evaluation process, the Sevakarmi component included eight key parameters such as: departmental structure, service entry rules, promotion status, direct recruitment status, confidential reports of officers/employees, appointments on compassionate grounds, training through the iGOT portal, and disposal of departmental inquiry cases.

Additionally, the Sevakarmi Tech component covered four parameters: promotion status, digitised confidential reports (MahaPAR), iGOT courses, and the digital portal E-HRMS.

In this comprehensive assessment, the Public Works Department scored 178 out of 200 marks and secured the 2nd position.

    Heartiest congratulations to everyone! 💐💐
