Hon’ble Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis launched Zebru – Road Safety Awareness Mascot at Nagpur. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that due to increasing urbanization, the number of vehicles is rising day by day. Through the ‘Road Safety Awareness Campaign’ by the state government, citizens are being made aware of traffic rules to prevent accidents. The state government’s intention is to make citizens ‘traffic literate’ so that accidents do not happen at all. This is the fruition of this campaign, and measures are being taken through various departments to prevent accidents.

Citizens should follow traffic rules and participate in the road safety campaign. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also appealed on this occasion to adopt the motto ‘Road Safety is Life Safety’. From the perspective of road safety, the unveiling of the ‘Zebru’ mascot is an important step for the transport department. Chief Minister Fadnavis said that due to this mascot, the ‘Road Safety Awareness Campaign’ will become more effective in preventing accidents.

DCM Eknath Shinde, DCM Ajit Pawar, Minister Shivendra Singh Bhosale, Minister Pratap Sarnaik, MoS Madhuri Misal, and concerned officials were present on the occasion.
