PWD Minister Shivendrasinh Raje Bhosale Announces ₹1,296 Cr Road Repair Plan with AI-Based Monitoring System

Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Shri. Shivendra Singh Arunaraje Abhaysinghraje Bhosale announced a major initiative to ensure timely and quality road repairs across Maharashtra. Under the annual road maintenance and repair program for 2025-26, the state government has approved a fund of ₹1,296.05 crore.

The initiative includes the launch of an AI-powered mobile application, developed on a pilot basis, to track potholes and monitor road repair progress in real time. The app will help officials identify road damage locations, verify repair work, and ensure transparency and accountability in the process.
