    Kundan Waterfall – A Scenic Attraction in Shahapur Taluka

    Kundan Waterfall, located in Shahapur Taluka, is a well-known Grade ‘C’ tourist destination. Due to the continuous flow of water from the Kundan Dam, the waterfall remains active throughout the year, attracting a large number of visitors. Under the Tourism Area Development Scheme, the Public Works Department has constructed an arched bridge and a ghat (stepped embankment) at this location, enhancing the overall experience for tourists.

    The Shenwa–Kinavali–Saralgaon–Dehri Road (District Road No. 64) in Shahapur Taluka is an important route that connects Murbad and Shahapur talukas. Under the Maharashtra Government’s Annuity Project, the widening and renovation work of this road—covering a total length of 32.00 km and a width of 10.00 meters—has been completed.

    Raj Bhavan

    Raj Bhavan, Mumbai, has been the official residence of the Governor of Maharashtra since 1880, during the British era. Situated at the tip of Malabar Hill in South Mumbai, it spans 47 acres and is surrounded by the Arabian Sea. The estate has historically been a part of the Bombay Castle precinct and holds immense cultural and political significance. Rather than a single structure, Raj Bhavan is a complex of heritage buildings including Jal Bhushan, Jal Kiran, Jal Chintan, Jal Laxan, the Banquet Hall, Durbar Hall, and the Governor’s Secretariat. Each structure within the complex is of historical, political, and architectural importance, reflecting the rich legacy of the state’s governance.
